SKILLED. RESPECTED. COMMITTED TO THE LAW.
I’ve spent more than 15 years in the courtroom serving Texans as both a prosecutor and in private practice. From my early days as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County to my work here in McLennan County as a Chief Felony Prosecutor and now in private practice, I’ve built my career on fairness, preparation, and respect for the law.
Outside the courtroom, I serve as President of the Waco–McLennan County Bar Association and have led community boards that protect our history and improve quality of life in Waco. Growing up as the son of a small business owner, I learned the value of hard work, accountability, and integrity — values I carry with me every day.
I’m running for Judge of the 170th District Court because McLennan County deserves a judge who is skilled, respected, and committed to the law. My promise is simple: fair trials, efficient proceedings, and a courtroom where every person is treated with dignity.

I am an accomplished trial lawyer with over 15 years of courtroom experience and deep roots in Central Texas.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University, majoring in Political Science and Slavic & Eastern European Studies with a minor in History, before completing my Juris Doctor at New York Law School. I was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2008.
I began my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Harris County, one of the largest prosecutor’s offices in the nation. In that role, I prosecuted dozens of jury trials, ranging from DWI and drug possession to aggravated assault and murder.
When I returned to Central Texas, I joined the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office, where I served as Chief Felony Prosecutor of the 19th District Court and later a brief stint First Assistant District Attorney. I led prosecutions in serious felony cases and supervised younger prosecutors, earning the respect of judges, defense attorneys, and law enforcement alike.
Since 2018, I have practiced at the Law Offices of Vic Feazell, P.C., where I supervise the civil litigation team and represent clients in both civil and criminal cases. My work spans personal injury, business disputes, and criminal defense, giving me a balanced perspective on the law from both sides of the courtroom.
My service extends beyond the courtroom. I currently serve as President of the Waco–McLennan County Bar Association and am a past president of the McLennan County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. I have also served as Chairman of the City of Waco Animal Welfare Board and now chair the Historic Landmark Commission for the City of Waco, where I work to improve quality of life and safeguard our community’s heritage. I have also stepped forward as a candidate for McLennan County District Attorney and for Mayor of Waco, reflecting my commitment to public service and community leadership.
I am running for Judge of the 170th District Court because I believe McLennan County deserves a judge who is skilled, respected, and committed to the law. My vision for the court is simple: fair trials, efficient proceedings, and a bench that serves the people with impartiality and dedication.
The foundation of our legal system is the rule of law. I believe judges should apply the law as written, not legislate from the bench. I am dedicated to impartial decision-making rooted in the Texas and U.S. Constitutions.
A judge should not bend to political pressure or personal preference. I will remain impartial, independent, and faithful to the Constitution in every decision I make.
The people of McLennan County deserve confidence in their courts. I will run an open, transparent courtroom where rulings are clear, records are accessible, and justice is visible to the public.
Courts exist to interpret and apply the law, not to create it. I'm committed to exercising restraint, ensuring the voice of the people and their elected representatives is respected.
Property rights are fundamental to liberty and prosperity. I will apply the law fairly to ensure that families, landowners, and businesses know their rights are secure in my courtroom.
Delays and inefficiencies in court waste time and taxpayer money. I am committed to running an efficient docket that saves resources and delivers justice swiftly.
